Major Ad Reduction on Consumption Junction

We've heard enough complaints about CJ looking like a banner farm. We've removed 5 banners from the pages. Stopped the home page endorsements altogether so the text will always be entertaining. And as soon as we fulfill current orders on the popbacks on load, you won't see those any more either. We have those sold until the end of February so it'll take a bit. This will accomplish two things.

The site will be more entertaining.

The rest of the ads on the site should get more clicks.

heh damn, i must give you credit, you sure do listen to the webmaters and surfers

We try. It is hard to keep everyone happy. CJ has had to fund the development of CJ Bucks which meant we had to whore it out for a little while. Now that CJ Bucks has launched we can cut back on the ads.

wow. a blunt & honest person in this business. so rare.

smart move. Consumption Junction is a franchise, it's a brand name with a long future ahead of it, not worth risking the brand's future for short term gain.

now how about hiring some new techs to keep your site up? 4/10 times I try to go to your site I get a 404, 403, or the site just does not come up... I have talked to a few people and I'm not the only one with the problem.

I remember years ago when CJ was the first site I went to when I wanted to look for weird crazy and funny stuff, great to see you listen and act on what the users want
