Beware of this designer
 

This site here has just gone up: http://www.xxxmedia.biz/ and its a complete rip off of http://www.xxxdesign.co.uk/ which is one of the top design companies in the UK. Even the testimonials are copied!

I spotted a copy of my testimonial there too.

The designs do not look much alike at all. Is that what you mean by a ripoff?

I rarely post here, but I felt I ought to contribute to this as owner of www.xxxdesign.co.uk.

XXX Media Design (xxxmedia.biz) have copied the text from almost all the pages in our site word for word... They've not even bothered to edit it to make it their own, apart from changing the name...

Hell, the guy even has the same testimonials written for us by our clients, some up to a year ago!

The welcome paragraph text is the same, the pricing page is the same, the services page is the same... and the list goes on!

And... Did he really do that design for CEMags that he's got there in his portfolio? Maybe he did... I don't know.

I'd just like to say, that as many of our clients know, our site http://www.xxxdesign.co.uk went live, in it's current form just prior to the August Internext show in 2002, and that we were the ones that designed it and wrote the text.

You know that is bad... I am not impressed with the portfolio thats for sure... The Nobes is a great designer... anyone can see that by his portfolio

Stealing text? how easy it would have been to change it.

I can imagine them coming here and saying "oh we paid someone to get the text for us" but the fact they have left on there the testimonials gives that away LMAO

Be original, jesus why anyone would want to copy another design companies site is beyond me.

We have at it happen 3 times to use at webinc.com

Actually just happ. today with a design company in germany, who copied almost our entire site, portfolio, etc.

That was done by me last summer... along with the rest of the mags.. You might want to pull that down.

It always amazes me that some people think they won't get caught.

..and to further back up what I said.. note the "ÐX" in the barcode label.. along with the date I started it in the numbers..
