How much money does the average man earn in a lifetime?
Where can I find stats on that adjusted for inflation to todays money value?
Depends on the country. But whatever you make is always more than 90% of the rest of the people on earth, even if you'd only make $1000 a month.
I always like looking at my SSN statements and seeing what I made in my lifetime. Then factor in they don't know about 2/3 the money I made.
In the states I mean
Looking at my SSN numbers made 1/2 million in the last 4 years. Not lots like some, but still better than average joe.I would say probably a million so far considering my stints overseas, time as a construction worker as a teenager etc.
just take the average income for the how many years you think is the average work life.
Ethopia man makes 100-160$ a year
30k/year * 40 years working or so = 1.2M
if you adjust it for inflation, etc probably double that, so more like 2.5M |

When I was younger, I remember hearing the average man makes less than a million in their lifetime.
I've also heard it takes a million to raise a kid and put them through college. Who knows. What I do know is there are a ton of people out there living on less than $30k a year. I don't know how, but they do. So they're only making $900k if they work 30 years at $30k. |
stats have been posted nothing to calculate really.

...except that 90% of the world also doesn't have $1000 in expenses a month. :2 cents: |
Here in Philippines most people make about $300 a month in a callcenter.
So after 40 years of working that would be $144,000 (that's the people with education, most people probably make even less). |
