How To Get Sites Into Google News, Video

for mainstream sites. can't remember if you had to submit or they just included your site if quality enough.

Video is easy. Upload to youtube, keyword it correctly, and get more views than the video that is showing currently in the google serps.

You can also build links to it to give it PR.

is that for ranking? i was talking about getting your site in video.google.com. looks like they pull videos from about 100 video sites for their serps.

I had a mainstream gay news blog that I submitted and had accepted. Didn't make enough money with that site to justify continuing it. Traffic was good but monetizing it was difficult since it was a general site.

A google video sitemap will help you with that.

easy-peasy, just build up a quality site and become a google news source..

----------

" - have news content that is original to the site
- don?t solely promote their own activities
- are written and maintained by a clear organization, one that has
multiple writers and editors"

----------

apply for inclusion.

if you adjust it for inflation, etc probably double that, so more like 2.5M

I think you're posting in the wrong thread.

They have been cracking down a lot on sites recently. I know a couple of guys who had sites that updated many times per day and had been listed in google news for months then all of a sudden google notified them that they were no longer going to list them in the google news section. No explanation and no reason why. One of the guys started another site, played by all the rules and built a very nice site and was rejected.

If you can get in it, there is some nice traffic, but it is not easy and getting harder.
