Processing Question
If we want to set up a affiliate program, what is the best processor to use?
I see some people on here will not promote a website if they don't have a certain processor or does it not matter? |
Use Nats for affiliate system. The processor doesn't really matter. If you do a lot of volume get your own merchant account with Netbilling. Otherwise just use CCbill.

If you are a newbie start w/ an IPSP.

There are a few decent processors:
CCBill Verotel Zombaio I'm sure I forgot one. CCbill is kind of the "industry standard", the one that definitely isn't the wrong choice. One of the others may have an advantage for some people, but if you're not sure, you can't go wrong with CCBill. Do NOT use some processor (or web host) noone here has ever heard of because the rates look a little cheaper or something. That'll eventually bite you badly. |

CCBill without any doubt along with Sliiing as affiliate backend software. A little about the benefits of using Sliiing's: 1- Allows you to use alernative billing solutions (backup credit card, sms, telephone, european pay with recurring) 2- It tracks your affiliates sales better. 3- It offers great stattistics 4- It offers profesionnal promotion tools. 5- It is 100% compatible with CCBill 6- It is third party software ( for transparency ) Good luck :thumbsup |

Whilst CCBILL are solid, if you anticipate sales outside USA then it is important to think outside the credit card box.
For example, customers from the Netherlands are already used to using the iDEAL interbank payment method. By deploying our geo-targeted payment button on your joint page, you can start offering all 'alternative' payment methods in just one click: http://bobbiedenlive.com/ccbill/index.htm |
