Not to belittle the terrible atrocities that take place in north korea but this vice news garbage thrives on sensationalism.

I cracked up when they went to the "Pacific ocean garbage patch" and were genuinely upset that it wasn't literally a big floating pile of visible garbage.

A Dutch TV team did a travel show in NK recently, I saw a short preview of it, but no, people in NK have no idea of what's going on in the rest of the world, they live in a bubble. But recent news footage proves that someone they are aware that their leaders are scumbags because I haven't seen any REAL crying, all the crying I saw about this passed away leader was fake IMO. They pretend they grieve to avoid getting sent to a labor camp for not grieving I suppose.
