how come 'family guy' is funny, but 'the cleveland show' isn't?

Cleveland show was just a mainstream meal ticket for McFarland, and I am sure the Fox execs said something like "Make this one so it doesn't upset people and they can understand it like King Of The Hill."

I don't fault him for it though because Family Guy and early American Dad did a great enough job of pushing the boundaries of both creative and political theater on TV.

Clevelad Show has more fart, shit and fat jokes. Family Guy and American Dad is just about being a complete asshole with Eighties and Nineties references and some singing.

I thought 'The Cleveland Show' was decent to begin with, but soon got really really bored with it. Haven't watched it in ages...

funny, that rollo character is the biggest low in that show in my opinion. Extremely annoying and not funny at all.

yea american dad is good too. But when they start singing (esp family guy has too much singing crap) i flip the channel immediately... cant stand that.

All three of the shows - Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show,

share different writers, producers, and directors.

I personally favor American Dad over Family Guy.
