Hi there everybody! This is my first post to the forum, and ive been dying to ask everyone a few questions concerning an incident with my cat Gizmo. Gizmo was not a very smart kitty a few nights ago, he has used adderall several times before to get high, however he never went over 130 mgs (he never had a connection, just sorta stole them from his friend Whiskers who only takes it about once a week).

Anyways, Gizmo finally had a moment of clarity, and decided that he might very well have ADD. After seeing a therapist for past events that have troubled Gizmo for a very long time, the therapist concluded that Gizmo's best bet was to go on Adderall to treat his symptoms. So Gizmo set up an appointment with a psychiatrist, and walked out with two scripts of adderall, one script for 30 10mg XR's and another for 30 5 mg IR's to act as boosters (both were generic). Gizmo truly believed that these medications could help him, and at the time had no intention to shove them down his throat. After taking his regular dose of one 10 mg XR (and one 5 mg IR, so he could tweak just a liiiiiiiiiiiitle bit) Gizmo decided that this was it, and he was very satisfied to be talkative, energetic, focused, and overall peaceful.

Later that night, after he spent a few hours at work, Gizmo decided that just a few IRs wouldnt hurt anybody, and that some days he probably wouldnt need them anyway. So he took 7. And thats when it hit the fan. Gizmo started up on some porno (a FAVORITE pastime while on stimulants) and after maybe 2 hours decided that his buzz was fading and that he wanted to buzz REALLY hard. This is where it started getting crazy. He took 5 initially, then another 7 in half an hour, then the rest of them in yet another half an hour.

After that point the buzz was fading, and he just needed more buzz, more pops, and just more BUZZ!!!!! So he turned to his XRs, crushed them up and parachuted them, 7 or 8 at a time in very short incriments, all this time with the porno going and going. After finishing his stash, the buzz went totally away and Gizmo tried and tried but it just did not end. Finally he realized that he had to go to work in an hour (talk about a lot of time) and STILL could not finish up. Somehow he managed to relieve himself somewhat and drove himself to work, and by then he noticed something went very very wrong. While driving to work he noticed that his vision had totally changed, not that he was unable to see, but everything was visible to him, and focusing on anything was impossible. He still observed the speed limit, stayed in his lane, and managed to get himself to work where it started to all fall apart. Gizmos paws started turning white, he was totally delirious from that night and the day before where he popped one 30mg XR and didnt sleep. So he went 48 hours without sleep or food, spoke very softly, eyes red and huge bags under them, hands still turning white on and off (Gizmo wanted to be a doctor, so he knew all he had to do was keep stretching and moving around to keep his circulation up, thankfully it was a slow day).

His hearing diminished while his ears were ringing, he wasnt processing words (he called a customer sean after the customer told him twice that his name was chris). His pulse never went above 120, he made sure of that by breathing very calmly and relaxing the muscles in his body however his BP mustve been through the roof. Somehow gizmo survived his short 5 hour shift, went home, and slept after a few hours of reading the forums. The next day and the day he started feeling better with the general loss of apetite and slight change in vision however to this day his short term memory feels fried, he cannot articulate certain words from time to time, and he feels very clumsy. Gizmo is curious about long term effects of his crazy high dose of amps, and would like to know if he is going to sporadically die or anything in a few days (as tylenol would via liver toxicity) Any ideas anyone?
