3.5 year old user submitted pic gallery, 1.7 million+ pic views, 3700+ images, 2.4 mn+ pageviews
 

Hello GFY,

I am selling one of my very old user submitted amateur picture gallery sites built on coppermine. It was established in July 2008 and has got more than 1.7 million views of the images as per coppermine. It has also got 2.4 million+ pageviews as per statcounter though I did not use statcounter since the start. There have been 338K+ unique visitors and 302K+ first time visitors as per statcounter. There also seems to be around 1000 registered members (I am not too sure but it seems there are 25 members listed in each admin page and there are 50 or 51 admin pages) as of now including both active as well as inactive users. The website has also has an watermark mod and logo so that as soon as anyone uploads a picture to the gallery it gets watermarked automatically. I have never concentrated on the website and that is one of the reasons why I am selling it. And I hardly ever visit the website even once in a year. I had always kept public submissions in the website so that anyone and everyone can submit even without registering. At times, I need to moderate and so, for several months or even a year when I make the next visit the website remains unmoderated which is another reason why I am selling it. I am not much into adult and am nearly leaving it completely. So, I want to sell this off before the next domain renewal date is in January 2012. The website is self sustaining with no work needed and has got good traffic all through these years. The traffic is from South Asian countries mainly though there are submissions from Western countries too at times from what I could see. I am not looking for a high price for the website as I am anyways looking to leave it completely.

which one are you referring to .. if you are saying about the one in the last few days then it is probably because when I went to website today then I realized that the images and gallery were not loading as the pictures table in the sql database had a problem I suppose. I went to phpmyadmin and selected the table and clicked repair and everything was back to normal. I normally visit the website only in half a year or in a year or so and so, I did not see it. It will again be back to normal in the next few days as the pics and gallery is fine after the database table repair. This is a 3.5 year old site and so, the traffic has varied as I can see from the stats but it is still good. And I am not looking for very high bids either even for such a consistent traffic for years.

It is from se mostly and loyal traffic. The images also get automatically watermarked once an user uploads and that also helps in automatic promotion in case anybody uses the images in other forums etc. I had also setup a bbcode system for forums using a coppermine mod in case anybody wanted to use it on forums.

Thank you for informing. Not sure which one you were referring to but I tried cleaning up the site even further. That is one of the major reasons why I want to leave the site. I keep the site unmoderated and with public uploads. So, I have often seen CP and morphed images which irritates and I try to clean up whenever I moderate once in a year or so and I notice them easily. It becomes difficult to moderate when there are such as large number of images and so, it is a problem often but I try to moderate and remove all such images whenever I login once in a year or so.
