Do people still think the internet is for porn? Even back in the day I hope people would have been able to see that there's a lot more usage to it than porn..

Of course all of us here hope that's all it is for lol, but let's be real here, even ignoring the porn aspect of it, what other inventions recently are better?

baryl 12-16-2011 07:33 PM

I saw some porn on the internet once.

yes,is for porn only

I think some of you are missing the point. The thing this is concerning to me about this is when "Polis then offered an amendment that would stop the Justice Department from using SOPA's vast powers to aid adult industry businesses who happen to hold valid copyrights. "Pornography should not be the focus of the attorney general's protection,"

IMHO, a valid copyright holder is a valid copyright holder, does not matter what the material is, as long as it is legal and last time I checked, Porn is absolutely legal...

adultchatpay 12-17-2011 09:56 AM

99% that's a fact

Barry-xlovecam 12-17-2011 10:21 AM

The courts may view this differently but as to the criminal aspect of this proposed law -- don't hold your breath for the calvary to come ...

Polis then offered an amendment that would stop the Justice Department from using SOPA?s vast powers to aid adult industry businesses who happen to hold valid copyrights. ?Pornography should not be the focus of the attorney general?s protection,? he said.

It was a brilliant tactical maneuver. First, it delayed discussions while members of the august Judiciary committee wrangled with how to handle this unusual conversational detour. Second, it put SOPA-supporting chairman Lamar Smith, a conservative Republican whose district is largely Texas Hill Country, on the defensive by appearing to show him siding with the intellectual-property rights of people who create triple-X movies.

Smith said that, although his ?personal opposition? to the adult industry and its products is well-known, ?we need to respect the discretion of federal law enforcement officials.?

you don't get it at all

it was a filibuster

if they would have accepted it it would have killed the bill on constitutional grounds because porn is not really defined

if they rejected it they had to spend hours debating it until the clock ran out

every internet nerd with half a brain get this seriously i don't see how you guys don't understand this

the guy entered the song the internet is for porn in the congressional record

the congressional record now has the statement

"grab your dick and double click for porn, porn porn"

forever

Scott McD 12-17-2011 02:23 PM

Rather porn, than damn Facebook shit anyway...

lucas131 12-17-2011 03:06 PM

internet is for homosexuals

digitaldivas 12-17-2011 07:50 PM

Your not in Colo, and this politician has publicly stated that copyright law should not protect the adult industry. Also, given your history here, I am not surprised that you cannot see between the lines...
