My WordPress blog is Fucked (as in not good)
 

Last night I made a new post and then I noticed my formatting is screwed up. My background color is now both the foreground and back ground color. The bottom of the page is missing the footer info and a few buttons like (Old posts) and such. Also my side bar is gone.

To troubleshoot I trashed the post and my site returned to normal. So I thought I must have left an open bracket or something in that post. Something in the html code must have been screwing it up. So I added a simple post with a title and one word in the body and published it. When I view the page its fine but when I go to mysite.com/ (just the main URL the post again screwed up my formatting. Everything was wrong again. I trashed that post and was back to normal again.

Here are some of the things I've done to troubleshoot.
Cleared cache and cookies
Cleared the cache of WP cache
Added a new theme - then went back to the old theme (figured it wouldn't help but trying anything)
Deactivated every plug in.
Removed all my side bar widgets.
Upgraded WP to the latest and greatest.
Them Updated my theme which had an update after updating WP.
Tried everything with a different browser.

After all these steps still nothing.

FYI, I also googled the F out of this trying to find a resolution but I see nothing similar to my exact problem.

I used to have a footer comment about being 18 years old bla bla bla and I can't find that anymore in my interface.

This is driving me crazy.

Anybody see this before?

Simply creating a post with a few words and publishing is screwing up my site.

definitely sounds like the sidebar fucking up

is the new post making something appear in the sidebar (categories, archiove, widget) that otherwise wouldn't be there?

sometimes this is done if the picture is bigger then the format of the post. but if you deleted the post. not sure what to tell you. if you want to send me the link i can try to take a look.

The side bars are blank. That is part of the screwed up formatting. I thought it was a picture I added that screwed it up. But like you said I took it down. Checking to see if I have any back of this in my cpanel.

You could try reinstall the database through cpanel rather than wp.

Regarding restoring the db, I've never done it and I'm afraid I'll lose stuff.

I have like 25 posts but because the formatting is messed up you can't see the other pages.

it's probably just because when that post became the bottom post, there wasn't any HTML after it for a browser to "assume" that the iframe is to be closed. html can be stupid that way. well i shouldnt stay html is stupid. it's still technically a human error, as is the case 9/10 times
