Legal Question about warning page and hosting in a different country.
I'm just getting a feel here, as most of you can see I'm from the States. If I were to get hosting in say the Netherlands would I need to have a warning page on the site? Is the webmaster or owner liable depending on the country he is in? How does this work? This is still something I'd research a lot over.
We all know todays users demand instant click through so I figured traffic would be a lot more effective on a site that didn't require that. Thoughts? :helpme |
I'm seeing more and more sites even in the USA with no warning sites. Tubes are a great example of this and they have more traffic than anyone.
I doubt you'd have any issues at all, however by putting a warning page it does show you're trying to be someone responsible. |
Personally all my sites have warning pages. If decide to opt out of having them at the very least have your sites labeled by Restricted To Adults.
