Should TheHun Change His Format?
 

I understand that his site is doing well but do any of you think that he should change his site's format?

Personally I think it looks old... Kinda like it would have when he first made it back in the old days before we had color!

I've been checking it out lately (Taking Some Links) and I keep thinking to myself that this guy could be doing much better if he updated his site's look/feel once in a while.

So what do you guys thing?

Oh, I'm using some of them on my read only forum. (Gallery Area)

I thought he added allot of them per day but as it turns out he's only been adding a small few. Guess his out of town or something huh!

Anyhow, does anyone think he would do better if he changed the look of his site from time to time?

I've always thought that he should charge 9.95 for access to achives... I would likely bring in a extra 100k a month... Plus, leaving the front page free, it probleey wouldn't hurt his traffic to much...:thumbsup

True is a way but if you don't change things a little from time to time wouldn't you're users start finding you're site dull after a while?

Hmmm, who would want to change something that makes a ton of cash every month? So what, the 1M+ surfers show up one day and can't figure out what happened to the easy to find gallery links and leave so traffic drops in half over night. LOL

Oh and yes, I hear he loves it when you take some of his links.

I'm not using anything of his - just toke a few of the movie link galleries that where posted on his site.

More money of course! I'm not suggesting that he change the whole thing here... Just that it looks old and that a little change once in a while could be good.

Personally I have nothing to gane from it so ether way I don't really care but I thought it would be an interesting topic since everyone respect the guy and all.

What gives you the right to take those links and post them on your site. Did you ask permission from the webmasters before linking the galleries?
Those galleries where posted to the hun for the viewing pleasure of his surfers, and not to be used as feeder content for every rinky dink tgp on the net.

And yes, there is a law against it.

No I didn't ask the guy and this is the first I've ever heard about not being allowed to place what ever link I wanted on my site.

The sites don't belong to him so what would he care?

I'm I the only one that never heard about a law that protects the links on a web site?

Bullshit. You can post a link to any page you want on your site. If it were against the law, search engines would be out of business.

Dude, there are a lot more prettier sites out there, thehun looks like dogs balls to me, its messy but GOD DAMN do the surfs LOVE HIS SITE. And there quality surfers too, or should I say there NOT JUST HIT BOT TRAFFIC like half the other tgp's out there.

Changing the whole site "every now and then" is another good idea. All successfull companies change their corporate identity every other week or?

Thehun is pretty good still. If there is a site that needs a fucking overhaul it's thumbzila. That site is a lump of shit.

All kinds of little colorful text and banners at the top and all the galleries at the bottom. But, I'm probably looking at it from a webmaster standpoint and not from the surfers viewpoint.

Why not give money to the freeloaders as well? I mean, with the millions and millions and millions of pictures and videos for free, you are right. They have the right to view them on a TGP that will look EXACTLY like a professional paysite.

Sorry, but when I read that kind of comment from a webmaster, I just want to kick his ass.

You just cant cut and paste whole sections of a database, but theres nothing to stop you from compiling your own database from several different TGP's.
