Oh, and the whole sucking from the governments tit, bunch of babies that need to learn to feed themselves:321GFY

She had degenerative bone cancer and lost the use of her lower back/back legs saturday night. We said if she ever got to where her quality of life diminished, we'd do the right thing and that was pretty much it. Since she's been going downhill the past 4 months we've taken her out for ice cream during that time. Poor thing was probably expecting a treat after the car ride rather than what she got. :(

6 years is a long time. Doesn't matter to me whether it was a ferret or a Rottie. I like animals more than people and am still hugely upset. I'd never been in the room for the injection before this weekend. Our other ferrets seem depressed.

It's always sad to lose a loved one.

But every second the passes by, our quality of life is diminishing. Unless you have gene therapy or stem cell replacement therapy. The question is where you draw the line...

My condolences on your loss

it hurts just as much as loss of a human friend.

animals have a special relationship with us humans in this world, and its sad their lifetime is so short.

as others have already and more will beneath me will say, condolences.

Sorry to hear.

Go buy another one. It won't replace the one you lost but it will help fill the void in your heart.

I don't have a problem with neither gene therapy nor stem cell therapies, not that I'm sure what that has to do with anything.

I care for my animals more than almost any person I can think of.
