Giants V Packers today...can the Giants win?

:winkwink:
but seriously Giants at home, Pack missing a few key defensive players and no doubt the Giants got their asses reamed by the coaches after that Saints blowout last week.

But...they did score 24 points against the Saints in New Orleans so that in itself is pretty good, so can they put up those numbers or better against the Pack today?

Also Broncos V Vikings? More Tebow magic or will the ever improving Ponder end Tebow's streak?

Does Tebow have the right hand of god behind him, or will he have Jared Allen's hands in front of him...heh

Some good games on the horizon today.

Eli is ranked in the top 10 current QBs, and definitely playing better than his brother right now;)

hey the packers (barely) beat the saints, so on any given sunday...

Wizzo 12-04-2011 09:27 AM

Any given Sunday is correct, but don't think it will be this Sunday for the Giants.

kane 12-04-2011 10:03 AM

Any team in the NFL can beat any other team at any given time. . . but I don't think the giants can win. They don't have much of a pass rush. The offensive line of the packers is great and Aaron Rogers will chew them up.

Looks like the fins have to wait another week.

Caligari 12-04-2011 05:57 PM

Great ending! :thumbsup

At least the Giants exposed some vulnerabilities in the so far undefeated Pack (although I am an Aaron Rodgers fan - saw him play at Cal).

they play at home against the raiders next week.

I think the dolphins might have to wait a few weeks.

Poor clock management in the closing seconds/drive of a game for the Giants IMO.

Exactly. Giants had OT in the bag, but Giving Rogers a minute to score is suicidal. Why they didn't wind that sucker down to 20 seconds or less is anyone's guess because it's a pretty easy thing to do.

since they lost ill say no

It was a great game. Giants had a nice chance but Packers are too strong at this point.

Sitting in the stands yesterday at the meadowlands, we were all saying the same thing.
Run the clock down so Rodgers has no chance to drive down field & get into field goal position. Why take a risk with a weak secondary? I don't get it, it's all so predictable.

CDSmith 12-05-2011 09:45 AM

So close. They came.....

sooooo close. ha ha

Looks like nothing will stop the Packers. Odds on them winning every game ??

Since its only been done one time the odds are not in the Packers favor.

What most likely will happen is their streak will end by getting beat by a loser team they should've walked all over.
