Affordable places to retire .... opinions.
Those of you that travel to or live in these areas, are the prices right? Or are these for dumps in the wrong part of town. I can live in Miami cheap also ... if I want to live in a crap house and eat poorly.

Fort Lauderdale is cheaper than Miami. And it's a 35 minute drive to South Beach. I've only been once since moving. Was originally set on Miami but I feel like I made the right choice. Everything one needs is here.
