i said it once and ill say it again, my sources tell me that the goog syndicate does not like ICM or their business practices.

I'm still trying to understand why XXX is being marketed to mainstream and porn consumers.

That's like Joe's Cordial Distributors taking out prime time TV ads to promote their distribution business, when they're actually a wholesaler that only sells to retail outlets.

They're trying to shift the consumer to looking for adult on .XXX, so the adult business needs to follow the consumer and buy domains. They will run a big consumer ad push here soon I'm sure.

IF that really was the case why the hell did they run the spots they ran??

Srsly it's just alllll about the money and fear tactics, their 'tag lines' "Stake your claim before someone else does" and "Buy YOUR domain before someone else does" to a non porn biz viewer as VAGUE as the ads are would just make someone go and buy a .xxx name like they would a .com IE: myfavsongs.xxx / myfavsongs.com

oh and as I've said in other threads, IF this was meant to reach ADULTS, and porn biz folks WHY the hell did those spots run at ALL TIMES, and why did my 11 year old see ALL the spots over and over and over Saturday from noon - ? while we watched a Star Wars marathon?????

they were also brilliant enough to hire an advertising firm that knows nothing at all about adult. ICM probably would of done better do the commercials themselves and offering some kind of real info directed towards adults and oh just maybe adult webmasters instead of the general public including kids, which they claim to want to protect (lol). instead they got hipster dufus Mcinnes goofing off like he thinks its bad SNL skit.

They are buying ads from some of our respected ad networks lol I see them popping pop under everywhere.

yeah i forgot about nalem. but they prob spent 500 bucks on that compared to 5 mil on mainstream tv ads.

they know that the adult industry is disunified and lives in the shadows so they can easily do an end run around it through mainstream media, business, political and bureaucratic channels.
