I know there are a few in the industry coming up from south Florida. I would love to say I am participating, but I don't feel like dying this weekend. lol I'll be camping with my 6yo son instead;-)

our team captain dropped out so we were not able to change our time which sucks. I would have loved an 8ish start time. We are 11:40

The only bummer is that you have to be there 2 hours before you start, and the closest decent hotel I could find that wasn't sold out is 50 miles away, so if we have to be there at 6:20am, then we are going to have to wake up at about 4:45am... Ouch!


Are you scheduled for Saturday or Sunday? If it's Sunday then I'll come find you after I'm done, before you start!

I am saturday, shit i had no idea about the 2 hours before start time. I gotta read that info packet they sent. Yeah we are looking for a motel/hotel now and probably will be in the same boat.

Yeah, you should take a look at that. You'll also need to print out and sign the waiver against death, major injury, etc..... Actually even my wife, who is only coming to watch, has to sign one!

They have two events in Australia in 2012, I plan planning on doing the second one in September in Sydney

I will post some pic after. That's if my wife can get some shots. Apparently the organizers also have people taking pics. We will see how it goes. I'm really pumped up for this!!!

It looks like fun, and rewarding too.

I used to do similar stuff in the military years ago. But not in the latest Under-Armour gear. Combat fatigues & boots, ruck-sack, and M16. They should simulate that at Tough Mudder.
