I'm 51 after error correction.
I think i'm a lot faster with actual words and with coding, but the test is a bunch of random fucking characters. If I see a word, it rolls off the fingers, but to read a random character string then type it is fucking slow.... Don't think thats accurate.

Yep... I just did the one with "crazy phrases" which uses real words not random characters --->88 after error correction.

Damn Pipecrews got me beat. 96 WPM, 1 error. Did about 10 of them, all 80+.

I was forced to learn how to type in grade 10, the only advantage was, as soon as we were done the assignment we could leave... I got faster and faster :winkwink:

Between 80-100 each time here. I took a typing class at the local college for no reason once. The bitch teacher would take points off just because I wasn't using proper form even though I typed fast with little to no errors. Like how I hit the left shift key to make a capital letter anywhere on the keyboard. I still do that, and other improper things. It doesn't matter.

I got 65 using dvorak. I've only been using it a couple months though so I can improve, still get stuck sometimes.

How to make it to 245 WPM like me
1. begin the test
2. type at your own chosen speed
3. change the result values to 245 before and after error correction. (its edit boxes - so don't worry, just enter a new value)
3.1 If you want to give a perception of authenticity - set the errors to 1, so you can tell GFYers that you still have something to practice on (and practice makes perfect - we all know that)
4. take a screenshot and post it on GFY
