Who celebrated Thanksgiving?
Is this what you celebrated? http://www.liesandconspiracy.com/201...-thanksgiving/ I havnt celebrated that shit in over 15 years
|
All I celebrated was eating too much food and feeling fat
|
I celebrated stuffing my fucking face with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie and watching football. I can honestly say that not once did I think about the Pilgrims and Native Americans or any of that stuff. I bet most of the country is the same way. :2 cents:

who cares. its just a day that people get off and can spend time with family.
|
what's a family ?
|
My neighbor brought over a fully cooked half a turkey.
I celebrated that shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found an old box of stove top stuffing and had some frozen collard greens, so I busted that out and got down! :food-smil02 |
No family came over this year so we didn't celebrate it (Cook a feast). We did get a turkey while it was cheap and I made it for the gf on Friday with some veggies. Small 8 pounder but I don't eat meat so its all on her. I think that's why she only eats turkey one day a year lol.

I'm getting a few years off from any and all holidays and it's more special every year :)

It was just a day off from the office.

In my country this doesn`t exist and I am glade we don`t have another day to eat like pigs and kill ourselves in the stores for black friday. |
Are you kidding? That's like not celebrating Christmas because you found out Santa Claus wasn't real. What kind of American are you?:1orglaugh
Could you imagine the shit that public schools would catch if they actually taught accurate colonial history? The first Thanksgiving proclamation June 20, 1676 Quote:
