ipad users, which size model do you have?
16gb, 32gb or 64gb.
what would you recommend. is 16 enough or is the 32 most common? |
64gb all the way. With movies, music, and apps, its easy to fill up.

I'd buy the smallest one and then one of those Wireless Seagate iPad HDDs they've got out now. You can get much more space for the money than you'll get from Apple.
Apple markup is nuts. I paid $25 the other day for 2x4gb RAM for my MBP. On the Apple site they wanted $400. $200 get's you 500 GB of Wireless iPad Storage. http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Satell...2141344&sr=8-1 |
I get the 16gb and never have had an issue. I do not see the need to have movies on my ipad though. I just stream them.

I have the 16gb ipad and the 32 gb iphone 4s. I would much rather have the opposite way around, because with movies and large apps, it does fill up quickly. So I would seriously recommend you to consider the 32 or 64 gb version, even though the markup is crazy high, it's well worth it when out travelling or so. The wireless hdd is fine but requires you to be somewhat stationary to an office or a home or so. Can't be travelling with too much junk, then it better be in place directly.

32Gb... and still have about 10GB left... don't tend to keep that much content on there. I tend to stream my content from my Media server.
|
32 at least, 16 makes you delete things to upload anything extra.
|
16gb
never had an issue with it filling up have a couple movies on it no music on it tho - dont understand why you would put music on an ipad |
|
Im on the gateway tablet, the Kindle Fire. It kind of sucks for a reader, but its good at surfing the interwebs and watching vids....

I have a 64 gig Ipad2... never thought I'd come close to filling it up, just wanted the extra space "in case..." - Well, let me tell ya, it fills up quick. Apps are getting bigger and bigger. You'll be glad you spent the extra money.

Do this : Buy the WiFi Model only, not the Wifi+4G. Use the money you save to buy more memory. If you ever need Internet in an area without Wifi you can use your cellphone as a Tether / Hotspot, and you won't need to activate a second account.
Goo. |
I always buy the top of the range model just because i don't feel regret after buying something "less"
I have the iPad2 64 3g and it is amazing..so much better than 1st generation.. |
ipad2 64g with 250g on wireless external
|
32gb ipad 1, if you like alot of games and apps then you'll need that at least. games can easily run to 500mb or more per one, so it doesn't take long to fill up
