Our Govt stinks
 

In the 50's & 60's it was Civil Rights for for Americans who weren't WASPs.
In the 70's it was a war so the CIA could prop up S Vietnam & corrupt leaders, read "The Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia."
Pictures in the book show CIA guys with Chinese Warlords & mule trains of heroin
But yet you prop of these people as defending "our way of life."
So you defend heroin dealers?? Read a history of the Bush family back 200 years.

ya the heroin story behind the Vietnam war is better known in SE Asia. thats how a lot of the army & police elite got their power. heroin was the only purpose to be in Cambodia, which is why they hid it from the media. Burma was one of the main drug routes, which is why that junta is so powerful and rich. drugs rule SE Asia. just stay away unless you are Army or Police.

use caution when trying to open the eyes of Americans. most just dont care. Americans have always been a war people even before they were America. 89% of Americans backed the Iraq war - until they didnt.

We supported a corrupt govt because they were "anti-Communist."
The French fought them from1945 to 1954. Then we stepped into the swamp. Took a bunch of HIPPIES protesting for years until we saw the light in '75 and left atop the US Embassy in helicopters. OOPS! Left a few Marines behind, that we had to rescue.

Guess LBJ, when you take the totality of the man, we all do some wrongs. But at the end of the day the good out does the wrongs, we hope. He ended up on the good side.
