Which do you use for the web master and affiliate work?

I prefer e mail but for instant communication of the two choices listed there I would have to say I prefer ICQ

I prefer ICQ as well as most of the contacts

ICQ here for all adult webmaster related communication. I use Skype for a few social contacts.

I just use skype for personal shit. I tried using it for business but people constantly wanted to voice chat. If I wanted to do that I would just give you a phone number.

These days I am email only. Its better for me to just reply when I get time.

Skype all the way but since I have tons of contacts still in ICQ, and it doesn't look like the majority of them will be switching over any time soon, ICQ is what I use most.

The only thing that sucks about Skype is that one can't leave offline msgs.

Personally I like skype but ICQ always on for everyone in the industry that likes it better.

ICQ is what I've been using for business since 02', but more people use Skype, these days. Especially my friends and affiliates across the pond.

i'd pick "neither" but since Skype became a bulky, twisted pain in the ass, i ticked ICQ for the old times :) trillian rocks (or gtalk, if i must pick an individual msg system)

Both, since people prefer both I use both. Since I do not use any of the additional crap with them, they are the same to me.

why does everyone in the industry prefer icq for business? because they can talk to more than one person at a time and don't have to go through the intrusion of video chat.. case closed..

people who prefer skype for business are usually the ones selling something.

Quite honestly I don't think anyone that uses ICQ is really sane, Always feel like I'm about to do business with someone who gives you their compuserve email address

ICQ has so many issues and bugs. In my opinion the whole industry needs to switch to Oovoo cause the shit is futuristic.

I still have icq, but switching to skype gradually. Mostly use the text feature on skype:2 cents:

ICQ used to be a pretty good product but now that they are trying to monetize with their own search and their ad-ware makes it pretty much useless in my opinion. Plus Skype does so much more.

I wont even load ICQ anymore as their ad-ware systems are a major nuisance to me.
