I want to buy a Mesa Boogie combo guitar amp and in the US they are a lot cheaper. So anyone flying from the US to France or Holland soon and can bring the Mesa Boogie with him/her and make some $$$$ pls send mail to euker at almostthelastpage org
(I'll book US models too so any models reading this and want to make double $$$$ by bringing the amp and modelling for me, contact me!) |
Oh, a colleague of mine is going to Florida and after a day or so, she will be commuting to Amsterdam for business. I will tell her about this. Maybe she has some time to spare to grant your request. If she's okay with it, she'll email you. Good luck.

It will be rammed full of heroin and your friend will get fucked. after import duty, and the HUGE amount the airline will charge for something that heavy, I doubt it would be saving the OP any money anyway.

Thanks TrustCash, and Damian, the purpose of this is to get AROUND any importing duties otherwise I might as well get it sent to me by FedEx. I do this all the time when buying equipment like camera's.. the person in the USA gets rid of the box, packing, etc and brings the camera with accessoires, et voila, no problemos. Now a guitar amp combo is another thing because it's quite big but if you put that in your suitcase without the original packing, make it a bit dirty etc it should be fine and what I'm paying will cover the full outbound flight probably. And a guitar amp combo isn't that heavy. But we can check the specs (size, weight) before she gets on the plane with it of course, to be sure. Do you know how much importing duties I would be charged for if sent by FedEx by the way? VAT, and ?
