Dotxxx is run by scumbags.

Klen 11-18-2011 04:43 PM

Got same mail.Seems all domain registrars are equally retarded.

u-Bob 11-18-2011 04:44 PM

http://www.xbiz.com/articles/141133 <--- more confusion.

DotXXX 11-18-2011 05:01 PM

And that email came from a domain registrar that you currently do business with?

u-Bob 11-18-2011 05:12 PM

Got the same shady mail from Name.com.

CyberHustler 11-18-2011 05:14 PM

Moniker spared me so far. I did, however, receive a bunch of spam from GFY'ers. Gmail spam filter is awesome though.

What the fuck do you care you sorry fucking douchebag?

Is the tone of that email any different than that of your company? Coercion and intimidation and direct threats of harm to peoples marks if they don't do business with you. Years of lying about widespread industry support. Price gouging. Trying to create an illegal monopoly on adult domains.

That's what you do

Fucking idiot.

:2 cents:

Freaky_Akula 11-18-2011 05:22 PM

The juicy part about Lawley allegedly offering cash bribes to the Free Speech Coalition in exchange for support... http://********.com/read.php?ID=51699

I hope Manwin and Company decimate Lawley back to the stone ages.... Their lawyer seems up to the task of it.

Yeap, thats exactly what it sounds like.

MrCain 11-19-2011 07:33 AM

Dotxxx domains are a waste of money and a scam. Registrars that promote them are making themselves look guilty by association.

Freaky_Akula 11-19-2011 07:56 AM

Fuck Namedotcom.

Supz 11-19-2011 10:47 AM

You should just wait for someone else to register your trademark and take it from them for nothing.

Fuck'em :action-sm

garce 11-19-2011 02:45 PM

I'm not seeing any .xxx domains at DirectNic. That'll probably change soon enough, but at least I know the constant spam I'm getting isn't from DN.

EukerVoorn 11-20-2011 12:45 AM

I already openly admitted I bought a few xxx's and still think xxx is a good idea, xxx should have been here in 1996 already... but the way xxx is being introduced now really stinks. xxx will still be here in 10 years from now but people who are convinced that only scumbags work in the porn industry will then look back and say... yeah remember how the introduction of xxx confirmed what a scumbags they all are?

The "protect your non-adult brand by buying xxx now" really really really stinks like a wet fart the morning after eating tons of Chili con Carne. There is no way of defending that crap.

But the epic irony is how they say you cant claim trademark on name, only on dotname.com.xxx ,which is complete bullshit. And that is why they want you to pay "block" fee.In shortly,a example of extortion.

Nikki_Licks 11-20-2011 09:04 AM

Fuck .XXX and the scum bags behind it :2 cents:
