How to age verify
 

I have a main stream site (that will be going live soon) that the products being sold are only to be sold to 18+ only. Is there any way to ensure this happens or any precautions that can be taken to only sell to a 18+. Is there any way to cover my butt with anything legal wise that the buyer would check mark to agree to being over 18, and would that protect me?

Any ideas would help.

Have them register to the site with a valid credit card in order to verify that they are 18+

Well its for selling airsoft guns. So government kinda cares who I sell too. But in this day and age having a Credit card doesn't mean you are over 18 still does it. Or is that the only way. Plus have a little check box saying "I am over 18 and legal to purchase this order" which will then let them continue on to actually purchase the equipment. But is that enough these days or is there more that can be done, without killing the sale.

or, have them post you a stool sample, then medically analise, and verify?

you just state in your agrrement that ou agrreee and verify of 18 years., thats only thing u can do to save you ass.,

Credit Cards are for sure no way to verify as most high school kids these days have a debit Mastercard or Visa that will work as a credit card online.

You'd think there'd be some delivery service that included id checks for this kind of thing

We don't have one yet. But it is in the works to have a re-branding online store available to people.

Might have to see about having a sign for the package at delivery (and showing 18+ ID) or they forfeit their order..Hmmm

I don't think you can dictate policies to delivery companies.
