Wanna See How The Stars Move In The Night Sky?

These are spectacular star trails that were photographed via long exposure shots that took 15 hours to complete. Truly astonishing work by photographer Lincoln Harrison.

Light Pollution from nearby cities and towns. Try going out on the ocean in a boat at night, at least 30 miles offshore, on a clear night.... unfuckingbelievable amount of stars...

get out of the city and you'll see way more stars

I'd be afraid of planes ruining the picture. It'd be hard to find a spot of the sky around here that could go 15 hours without anything flying through.

I always notice the difference when its the other way around - go into a city, look up and can't see anything.

Just clone them out, it's not as if you wouldn't be chopping all the pics together anyway.
