How is it a woman takes so long to shop? Seriously, even buying bread requires more thought than buying a house. Yet when they want to buy a car, they grab the first thing they see.

I must secretly be a man. When I go shopping, I go in knowing exactly what it is I am shopping for and I am point A to point B as quickly as possible. When I go grocery shopping I even make my list in order of the aisles so I can zip through and get the hell out of there.

Babe, you are most definitely not a man but you are clearly a woman who knows what she wants. :) BTW, you've not met my new GF yet and hopefully, she will still be above ground when you come out next time so, we'll have to go out and grab some drinks...or perhaps an 8 hours brunch.

That is pretty accurate. The only time I go round an entire mall is if it is somewhere new and I want to see what is what.

My only problem with this picture is it still looks orderly... My experience tag along female shopping is a zigzag from one side of the mall to the other, in between shops... With at least 2 to 3 return trips to circle "that one cute skirt" again before ultimately buying something else.

The issue is one of disclosure. Your mission and hers are not the same. Your mission may be to go to gap and buy a pair of shoes, her mission is to be seen in public, spend time with you, spend your money and drag out the precious moment that someone is paying attention to her into an eternity.

In her eyes, you are both accomplishing two very different missions.

Last time I took my girl to Victorias Secret, I spent $500 on getting her all the shit she wanted and then she NEVER wears it, it just sits there in the closet.

I do that too, and I always end up buying the wrong maxi-pads. :1orglaugh

But sometimes you have to stop and shop a little to make sure you buy the right thing. :1orglaugh

Men need to just trust their women, because we always have plans for the big picture. Eventually, those things will be necessity so big shopping trips for things on sale actually save time and money. Just listen to us, and in the end we will win and be right.
