I need a 10 mb/s burstable server
 

Well people, the subject says it all. I'm looking for a dedicated server with 10mb/s BURSTABLE bandwidth.

I'd also like to have dual 30 or 40 gig raided hard drives, 512 megs or more ram, and a P4 1.4 mhz processor (or higher).

Please don't post any of these "Contact me and I'll set ya up", just pop up a few prices, if you wanna private me, that's fine.

ALSO, I'd like the server to have 24/7 support :thumbsup

I can have you setup today. 10 megs of fully burstable to 100mbit of Verio bandwidth for $1500/mo billed on average usage and not 95th percentile.

Now that I have posted others will come and try to sell you for as little as half of what I charge.

How much monthly bandwith are you willing to commit to?

I'm currently doing about 6-8 mb/s right now, but am on a 10mb/s plan because I hope to expand. I definately want a burstable plan :thumbsup

I don't find that all too true... What I do find disturbing is the number of hosts that quote low pricing that is nowhere to be found on their website. If they can make an offer in public for a discount but don't offer that same thing to their current customers or just automatically reduce their bill that isn't cool.

With those hardware specs, the Advanced-1 Server Package is $169 a month with 512MB of RAM, Athlon 1.7, and two 40GB IDE drives (software mirror). This would be running Red Hat 8.0. We'd throw in a burstable connection allowing up to 50GB of data transfer per month (no extra charge).

That is not even what he asked for. What is he gonna do with 50 GB?

Ha ha ha, that's what I was just thinking. The price looks nice if the 10mb/s was included, ha ha ha. DaKine, if you wanna give me the price with the 10mb/s, that'd be great.

I did get one person private me saying that Choopa has a plan with 10mb/s burstable with tier 1 bandwidth, but doesn't have the dual hard drives for $750. I don't know how good they are or how much extra they'd charge for the second hard drive. Plus the person also pointed out that support isn't always 24/7 even though it claims because he's had problems trying to call them when needed, but couldn't get ahold of anyone. I definately want a live voice on the phone anytime a problem might come up.

If anyone wants to private me some prices, please do so, I'd try to contact all of you that posted, but that'd take a lot of time I'm sure. I'm NOT a newbie in the business, so you can give me the non-newbie prices, ha ha ha.
