That was quick as fuck. "I have cancer," then hospice, now dead? If it wasn't ham-handed by the media, that was a very quick progression from announcement to gone.

Timeline:

End of September 2011: Frazier diagnosed with liver cancer.
October 2011: Cancer metastized.
November 2011: Frazier under hospice care.
November 7, 2011: Frazier passed away.

Man,it took him fast..such a horrible disease

Yes it is quick. I lost my father this August to the same thing. He was diagnosed in May, and It happened the same way.

damn, i only heard yesterday he had cancer and was in hospice care.

smokin' joe - i remember as a kid me and my dad listening on radio to his second fight with Muhammad Ali. there was no other way to see it, there was no PPV, if you lived in a big city they would have major title fights on closed circuit in arenas.

i guess he was diagnosed way too late but maybe that was a blessing.

Same Here. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer with mets to the brain on August 5th and he died October 26th.

He laid out Mohamed Ali!

Seems like cancer is running rampant lately. Seems like I don't know one damn family or circle of friends that doesn't have someone with the big C right now.

When will they quit treating cancer research like big business and just develop a cure already?

Don't worry, it was a rhetorical question. I already know the answer.
