I've been to Ivory Coast (I had a great time there - I had 6000 USd in the pocket and felt like a king )- it was my dream so now I should fill the second one

Sarah_Jayne 02-03-2003 06:54 AM

i want to go everywhere..that is why I became a travel agent before I did this and why I took up political geography as part of my degree.

Before I die I need to atleast do these things

- take the train all over the USA and Canada. I've been to 25 states and a number of Eastern provinces but since I left at 19 there is a lot I still want to see.

- Germany. My family background is mainly a mix of Welsh and German. I have been all over Wales now, I have to do Germany. REALLY want to go to the Black Forrest.

- The rest of Belgium - I never thought much about Belgium before I went there on an impromtu day out (one of the plus points of living in the UK). We went to Ostend and Bruges and I fell in love with the place. I've been back a couple time since but have to go back and explore more.

China - When I was a kid my mother was suppose to go to teach for a year in China. We were going to go to live there with her and I did loads of reading up on the place. Then Tiananmen,Square happened and my Dad refused to let us go. So, it is unfinshed business.

I am to Germany once a month at least - 300 km from here.
China would be interesting for sure.I think that USA will be one of the China provinces in the future so maybe you have to wait only:1orglaugh

Anyway, I have been to lots of places all around the globe but I have never been to Australia nor New Zealand so that's where I will go next time.

Triple 6 02-03-2003 07:13 AM

Before I die I would love to go to egypt, visit all the pyramids and museums and other egyptian shit. But being an 'american traveller' in an arab country these days kinda irks me. Maybe if I get a fake tatoo on my head 'praise allah!' then I will be ok.

True but I read somewhere that terrorists some time ago (80's or early 90's maybe) had kidnapped tourists visting I think alexandria or maybe luxor. I forgot.

Either way, I will get there one day before I die. Terrorism or not.

Probably France. I have been feeling really bad about myself lately and seeing those smelly, hairy french "people" would really help me to realize that things could be worse.

mike503 02-03-2003 07:34 AM

Brujah 02-03-2003 07:34 AM

Tala 02-03-2003 07:37 AM

I've seen 49 of the 50 states. I want to see Alaska.

I've seen Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Tazmania, (a stste of Austrailia) and part of Germany. I would like to see Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Russia, China, Turkey, Israel, and the rest of Austrailia.

I like to travel, it's great! Unfortunately, I doubt I"ll be doing much of it for a while. Damn college.

candyflip 02-03-2003 07:38 AM

Egypt is a pretty cool place. The only place I want to go that I haven't been is Nepal.

If you get the chance...venture into the jungles. My friend's father lives in exile in Peru, and he and his wife look after an entire village. The people are very hospitable and will bend over backwards for you...I mean, for your money ;)

I don't know. I want to go to New Zealand & Australia because I have some friends over there. Not because it's a "cool destination."

I was still a travel agent in '97 and was selling a lot of Egpyt but that was around the time of the tourist shootings and the country took a huge hit as far as tourism goes. So, perhaps the troops were there in reaction to that climate. My folks went to Egpyt when I was about 11..they loved it.

Lee 02-03-2003 08:27 AM
