Its nothing new, there are fault lines all over Texas.

RycEric 11-05-2011 09:57 PM

GFY style: It's the New Madrid fault, from which Japan's quake caused, and Yellowstone will erupt soon!!!! :winkwink:

Realistic: Felt it here in DFW as well. Blinds swaying but being from California numbs me I guess.

3rd quake in Oklahoma in 2 days

oscer 11-05-2011 10:25 PM

Kinda Strange since that area is supposed to be pretty solid , I mean thats why they built all those Datacenters down there

Captain Kawaii 11-05-2011 10:28 PM

Hopefully Yellowstone will blow before Christmas...I need a holiday.

It was a 5.6 quake. I'm about 60 miles SW of the epicenter and it was a pretty fun ride. Shook for close to a minutes and was pretty loud. Been in bigger in California, but having them in Oklahoma makes it even more weird. Was the biggest ever in OK, beating a 5.5 in 1952.

blazin 11-06-2011 01:39 AM

Probably caused by fracking.. Seriously.

Drill baby....drill... Lol

halfpint 11-06-2011 02:34 AM

We had earth tremors over here in Blackpool in the UK a few days ago. They said it was caused by Gas drilling

marzzo 11-06-2011 02:34 AM

Emil 11-06-2011 05:26 AM

Didn't feel anything from Sweden.

When is the first supervolcano going to erupt?

Yep... it's even worse in Texas apparently... it also contaminates the air, the water supply and rivers.

Yet again big business shitting on the general public in the name of profits...

They're trying to do more "For the good of the economy", despite the fact it will contaminate the water supply and cause even bigger earthquakes

thickcash_amo 11-07-2011 08:00 AM
