My first new car was a 1991 Mazda MX3. I bought it brand new off the lot in 1993 with thirteen miles on it. They had three of them, all purple, and even though the dealership dropped the price of the cars no one bought them. The car was great - CD player, leather, sun roof, six banger... I think I paid half of what the car originally sold for.

When I traded it in a year later, the car was worth almost twice what I had paid for it.

I guess, as long as you don't mind driving around in a Neon.
