If someone is an actual threat they should be in jail or a mental institution, this paying for a crime the rest of your life shit is one reason people commit more crimes.

My neighbor is a registered child sex offender. He is in his late 40s.

Boys that appear to be about 15 or 16 are suddenly coming to his house with him.

That's not normal behavior, right? Pretty sure he's not doing that because the state made him register as a sex offender.

Since another neighbor works for the city I happen to know they are trying to catch him with one. She felt inclined to tell the police since in the past he had the nerve to tell her that her 17 year old son was hot. Creepy fucker.

And a lot of Sex Offenders have nothing to do with crimes against minors or rape, you will be a sex offender for something such as masturbating in public.

My old Probation Officer used to work with Sex Offenders and she told me a story about a guy who committed a sex crime 11 years ago and since his conviction he had no more problems and lived a crime-free life. Another sex offender was arrested at the company he worked for and even though it was someone else and he had nothing to do with it, his company fired him just for being a sex offender, nevermind that he hadn't committed a crime since his original charge 11 years earlier.
