Renewing your domain names over the phone. Embarrassingly hilarious. Anyone else?

To make a long story short. Let a few domain names get to the eve of cancellation. Was forced to call the 800 number from a bar bathroom since the mobile app wasn't functioning and time was fast approaching. A girl who sounded like she was in her 20's helped me renew about a dozen domain names. Poor girl. Porn this. Porn that. A few about enlarging your penis. Broads, chics, whores amongst some of the keywords.

I have to admit it was pretty embarrassing listening to them being read back to me. I'm sure she has read worse though...

A lesson in humility for sure.

Yes! I had to do this too. It was with a guy though and hilarious. I was trying to tell godaddy which ones to renew an not to renew automatically online and it wasn't working. So I was forced to call so i didn't get charged for domains I didn't want.

I had to go through about 40 domain names with this person and most of them were pretty vile.

Funny story. And yes, she has probably heard worse.

My boyfriend has a Blackberry and whenever he gets a new one Verizon has to do something with his email accounts. He is always asked why he has two names, to which he honestly answers. They always laugh.

The guy I was talking to once just couldn't bring himself to pronounce my domain names... it was very funny, but frustrating to have him ... about to say the name, and expecting/hoping I would fill in the blanks lol.

Why not just call your assistant to have them renewed ?

Funny you mention gas mileage on a car that got better gas mileage than 85% of all cars on the road that got anything bigger than a v4 in it.. It's better to brag about the fact that your car loose more value per month than most people pay in rent

V represents the pattern in which the pistons are positioned and therefore fire. With V6/8/10/12 motors they are shaped like V's. I3/4/5 motors are inline, side by side. As mentioned above, there are a couple boxer motors that are flat and they fire away from each other.

There are also W motors that are two V motors fused together.
