im sorry i have to disagree with you, that show was terrible. you cant have a gangsta show on cable television. i couldnt stand to watch all the cliche'd scarface references and bad acting. im going to pop in my goodfella's dvd and relax

I was really let down by Kingpin. Too many cliches. You can already tell the direction it's going to go the rest of the season. The wife doing coke at the end was the final straw.

It's wasn't from David Chase, it's from one of the directors of the Sopranos. Definitely a BIG difference.

It will get better. The best thing that could have happened for them is to kill the over-acting drug lord's son. He was a terrible actor!

they could have choosen a hotter wife.. IMHO...

and a cable version with boobs would always be a nice improvemnt...

but besides that... first episode was pretty good

You're right, it probably will get better. Especially with the son gone. First episodes are always tough so I'll keep watching.

McBeth : guy goes away, comes back wanting to be part the the group that is power and gets second billing so his scheming wife works behind the scenes and mainpulates him into killing those in charge so that he can take over.

King Pin: ditto.
