PageRank may be worthless but the reason daily updated sites can have a 0 while dead domains can have a 2 has been known since the beginning of PR time. It has fuck all to do with updates.

the reason that i am doing this is because i was once a newbie... earlier this year in fact i was greener than your shit... and i remember what it's like...

so many of these newbies think they are going to get sales day one and when it doesn't happen even a few months in it can be discouraging...

I don't want to rain n anyone's parade but I would like to offer up some advice to the webmasters partaking in your deal:

Link to a UNIQUE gallery that is NOT duplicated in any form. What that means is if you submitted 100 recip'ed versions to tgps do not just link to your clean version from his blogs. Create a new simple html based one with proper meta, keyword use and light page-load using same the pictures with different file names than what you used on your duplictaed galleries. Better yet, if you have your own blog with WP PAGEs that are galleries then you are better to link to them.



I'm not going to explain the logic behind it but this will help you both in the end.

great advice! while it's time consuming to create a unique page, the payoff is worth it!

Css is your friend. Trust me. Make a handful of simple layouts using nothing but light css and you can infinitely change colors, text sizes, layouts etc with simple css changes, dump pics in, write few lines of ad text, voila, done. Upload, pay the man, relax with a cold one and a hooker for the rest of the day. Search engines ignore your tabled layouts and read the file top to bottom anyways so keep er simple.
