Switching up my biz model...
 

I think its clearly time to change up the business model I have been try to go for. It doesn't seem like Google or anyone else out there is looking for mass built stuff these days. I was going for volume trying to make things happen spread out and it is starting to backfire....kicking myself in rear for not just going for quality initially.

I'm sure some of you have done very well with volume and I wish I could say the say but it seems like google is just hating on splogs and 5 page sites these days. Unless its just me. :Oh crap

Yeah, would be interested to hear more feedback since I see guys who have hundreds of sites, yet very few of those get even updated for the past two years or so.

Google has always preferred high quality, handwritten, regulary updated sites. It's just that up until Panda, they hadn't quite figured out how to administer that goal on a mass scale. Now they have (in spades), so the article spinners and link farms that went along for years are now in shock. There are hundreds of stories of sites that have lost big this year and either have to rethink everything or move on to another job. It does suck on a personal level for a lot of people, but the truth is, it's not like Google didn't say what it wanted to begin with.
