Not odd at all mate I had a similar thing happen on a game flash site becuase i had a link to a martial arts website but I had money in mine as I also had other websites using the same acount, they stopped all of my sites from using adsence

My traffic is fine... thank you. All organic search from the great original content I always write.

Only thing I can think of is that after I placed the ad, I clicked on it one time to verify everything was working. If that's what did it, then I'm sorry Google. Maybe I should just spew out a bunch of wordpress robot sites... you seem to give all those schmucks adsense accounts

It happened to me once and i've been with Adsense since the begining.
I was looking at my site and saw a full banner instead of text. It was an awesome banner but it was advertising almost the same sponsor i was pushing. I went WTF ? I added the wrong sponsor banner code and clicked on it to see what it's all about but as i was clicking the shit i saw the google stuff on the browser (link) and went OHHHHHHHHHHH shit...
Don't recall if i was drunk, tired or whatever.

My Google Adwords story is unmatched. Ongoing for a year now.

Banned in November for a reason even their lawyer ("... but i work for Google") and their Marketing Director did not agree with. After 8 years of skyrocketing ads and CTR's.

Sidenote: They still send me emails about my campaigns, just two days ago I got this one telling me i needed to fix a word in my keywords or i might get banned because it is Steroids, but 1./ it is a plant for skincare and 2./ I'm already banned for year with no chance of reinstating. Assholes really.

And yes, i know this is about adsense, whiuch i still get to use and get paid for as well. That company is a joke.

Nope. Not porn sites at all. A pr2 site with only like 2 amazon affiliate links in the whole site. All original content.

Why would google even give me an account? It's the web site I signed up under.

And if they are banning for a user making 1 click to ensure that it's installed properly, that really is ridiculous and shows how out if touch google really is - as if wave and plus weren't enough.

If they are really terminating people for one self click then it really makes you wonder about Panda and how stupid the algorithms might be. It's hard to believe that with so many smart people within the company this sort of thing would make it to production. Then again you know what they say about groups and collective IQ.....

I don't even click on adsense ads on sites that aren't mine.... just to be safe.

Google is not cancelling people for one ad click, ok.

If I see an ad on my site for something that I want then I click it.

I have clicked on ads a time or two in the past and Google has yet to terminate my account.

and as blackmonsters posted I have done the same I have click on ads related to kettle bells and fitness links on my own blog to get a hold of deals and I'm still active.

I dont by it myself cause as the saying goes 2 sides to every story.

Something definitely doesn't add up here. I don't think just one click after day 1 would make them terminate your account. Sounds like you got a shitty deal.

I've clicked my own ads once after installing in a new spot and have never gotten banned. Also didn't get paid for them because Google tracks these unheard of things called IPs.

my personal favorite is that they won't tell you what you did in order to protect their proprietary crap

Yep you clicked. On new accounts that do that you're toast.

I know a guy who did that, he thought he was smart took his laptop to his gf's work with wifi and clicked his ads... fucking banned like an idiot. :1orglaugh
