Anyone using Skype for long distance?
I bought some credits recently.... it seems so cheap.
I may even get a monthly subscription. |
I bought some when I was living in Mexico City 5 years ago. it was perfect.
|
used it when I was in Europe to call home, worked well enough, depending on your connection. All my calls home over 8 days, were just over $4

I'm still looking for a decent way to travel to the USA without coming home to a massive monthly phone bill. Skype might be part of the answer, but what about data plans? I know they don't offer them, but is there anyone who does?

Dude, there's broadband everywhere..I have been to several 3rd world Countries..

I carried a Verizon "mifi" around with me last time and it was awesome. Free wifi though? Even if you can find it, it's poor connectivity. |
I have been using skype for years. Before the iPhone I was using it with my laptop and a headset. I have been on a monthly plan forever with them.
