This information cannot be dangerous - as she says - no human being can lie without showing it unconsciously. If someone masks it using one of the indicators she has shown, it will manifest in other ways.

Plus, if you are completely honest with yourself, then it becomes irrelevant if anyone lies to you. Your life, your responsiiblity. The liars problem, not yours. Self awareness - also helps you to understand your own emotions and how you express them, and therefore recognise these emotions in others - lying included. Begin with yourself.

There are seventeen different things a guy can do when he lies to give him away. A guy has seventeen pantomimes. A woman's got twenty, but a guy's got seventeen. And if you know 'em like ya know your own face, they beat lie detectors to hell.

Who the hell doesn't lie at the moment one speaks?? You can't fully communicate a subjetive truth ...

Yeah, it's a classic. The thread topic reminded me of that scene and then I wasted more time watching these...

Lying is easy. The best liars believe the bullshit lies they're telling. When someone believes the lie, then the tells are gone.
