what I love about the idea of riding scooters is that while you are smug with your green transportation you have to suck on the tailpipes of the other cars and trucks around you, in traffic when riding a scooter many of the other cars and trucks tailpipes are right in your face or very near to it. So to be green, you have to suck on exhaust fumes!

FINALLY automakers are going electric.

I sold my V8 smog belcher last month and a big reason for it was the oil spill Florida last year. I started watching a lot of documentaries about big oil etc, and started enjoying my new car less and less. I *LOVED* my car but it felt good to sell it.

The next car I get will be 100% electric. I drove the Tesla Roadster and it sold me on the all electric concept, but its actually too small for me so I'm looking instead at the Tesla Model S which is closer to a sedan. Then gain the new BMW all electric is coming out in 2013 I think so I may just wait a year or two.

Seriously motor heads - Gasoline engines is 100 year old + technology that's noisy, inefficient, dirty and bad for you. Electric kicks ass.

Meanwhile you walk everywhere ?

I bet that noise stopped you from getting run over a few times in your life.

I saw the trailer when I went to see Money Ball. Mission Impossible Way Too Old - Tom Cruise Drives A Bizarre Car. Grabbed my attention - but I ani't paying to see the movie. BMW is on a roll, or what?

Well how much pollution do you think is created in the building of huge turbines / panels etc?

Driving electric car is not *green* as people seem to think.
