all of the Canada listings are with large brands. they prefer to have Jenni seek out the applicants for them vs. being contacted directly. that is what Xindustry is hired for so she cannot give out their info. all companies are stable (have longevity, will not disappear)and offer great compensation packages :)

i know, i'm with ya on that. the trend this last year has been to bring everyone in house. if companies were still hiring remote, Jen could have had all the positions filled in a day or two. i think a few bad apples spoiled it for the bunch of us.

GAMEFINEST 10-24-2011 05:54 PM

Imortyl Pussycat 10-25-2011 10:07 AM

We are only hiring in-house for ages already. Having your team in-house works way better than having to work with remote people. Specially if they are in different time zones :2 cents:

At least thats our experience ;)

i know it's easier to keep your pulse on whats happening in the company with everyone under one roof. there are some circumstances where it can be beneficial to have someone on a different time zone as in Wizzo's case with ExoClick. he can help clients when the rest of his group is snoozing.

by the way, have any resource to find good programmers/developers out there? need a couple in-house in Amsterdam. marktplaats.nl kicked out my ads and i can't even understand the reason when i translate the dutch lol. something about agencies i think

What are you skills, besides Cyber Hustling? Are you in the city, or one of the boroughs, or outside the city?
