Okay, just to do the full disclosure thing here.... I have woken up with the biggest gut wrenching belly bombs ever. I think I have a White Castle hangover.

There is only one here a hour and 1/2 away.

Don't forget the onions. About 50% of the burger as I recall. But you can not put White Castle in the same category as In n Out. White Castle is for when you are drunk. All the onions in them will help clean you out the next day.

In other words, it serves a purpose. I can't really say the same for In n Out. Their fans are the Apple fanbois of the hamburger world. :2 cents:

I agree, I really don't get it. I enjoy them, but not that much. And I will not wait in line that long for a burger.

Same here... There are like 4 in Vegas. I have them every once in a while but I don't find them THAT great. Plus their fries suck. I don't give a shit if they're freshly cut... they're dry and shitty.

I actually prefer a Five Guys burger over In N Out.

I used to love big mac's but considering the burgers don't even come close to filling the size of the bun, they're worthless. Better off getting some McDouble's with big mac sauce.

Better off staying away from fast food. There are too many good burgers out there to waste time with fast food.

I don't even wait to go home and eat them, I like them steaming hot and just eat them in the parking lot. If your wondering why I don't sit inside WC and eat them, because the food is cheap you get a lot of trouble makers there...especially in the Bronx. :helpme

I prefer Wendy's burgers if I need to go fast food.

When I play Handball out in Massapequa I go to American Burger, it's a family run fast food joint, that should expand nationwide.

5 Guys is SHIT, at least here in Montreal. It costs almost $15.00 for a Cheeseburger, fries and a coke that to me tastes the same as LaFleurs which costs about $7.00 (and is just as bad). I really don't understand the appeal at all. It's noisy as fuck (the cooks, cashiers, fry makers) and have Chom's "Electric Lunch hour" on a 24/7 loop.

MEL's in LA however is great. Amazing food, cool place, great service. (Cheeseburger and a Milkshake - Yum fucking yum).

I like Whatburger, Fatburger, and Smash Burger.

But I'd rather have a medium original from Schlotzsky's over any hamburger.

Thank you. When goodgirl and I were driving across the US last month I started noticing billboards for fast food restaurants, in particular, their photos of burgers. I told goodgirl that I had a stash of burger photos that would outdo anything I had seen on any ad.

I have no idea. I think that's just flour on top (looks like sugar now that I really look at it).

I went into a food coma for about 2 days after trying to eat that. Made it about 1/3 of the way through. It was at Toby Keith's "I love this bar" in Tempe or Mesa, the "100 oz Challenge"
