Do you have long or short nails? I went and had a manicure the other day and the girl talked me into this new lacquer polish and now my fucking nails hurt from typing. I wouldn't recommend getting that kind of polish.


Don't think any of the men here get manicures so did any men look?

I was curious when it said men stay out

I have (in the past) spent entirely too much time at salons having them trying to convince me into "nail art" ...
(Not a practical solution if you frequent the gymnasium)

Gel nails are horrible so plz refuse that treatment ...

May I suggest using a nice natural nail shade along with a gloss for a sparkling finish if you prefer that look ... :)

It's not gel they have a new nail polish that has lacquer in it, I keep mine a french manicure.

I just had lacquer done on my nails last week and I cant say that my nailbeds "hurt" but, its taken some adjusting - I can tell I am typing differently. My nails are fairly short so these arent too cumbersome.

I have always been super hard on my fingernails, and they just don't grow for me. I've thought about going fake... but it does so much damage, it's a big committment. :( I stick with pedicures.

Oh, I tried stick-on nails and couldn't take my contact lenses out of my eyes until I melted two back off! it was awful!!

I have a indent in my left index fingernail which bugs me out ...
I am sliding my right index fingernail over it and it's a weird feeling ...
I don't know... it's like a dent ... :Oh crap

i keep mine short but not too short. when they're long i cant type as fast and when they are too short i can't either haha. what we girls have to go through for beauty *sigh*

It is strange huh? I don't think I will get it done again as my nails are hard and grow fast. I got them done more for the way it will last for 2 weeks and didn't have to sit and let them dry.
