If you like thrillers try The Changeling (1980) with George C. Scott.

Nothing to do with the Angelina Jolie flick by the same name.

Hahah I was just going to post Irreversible.

Also Midnight in Paris, saw this DVD last weekend, and it was pretty good.

I saw the movie "The way back" not long ago and it was pretty good if you like dramas. Was based off a true story of a group of prisoners whom escaped from a Siberian prison and had to walk 4000 miles through a desert & the Himalayas to get to India way back in the 40's.

Last one I saw was Crazy.stupid.love. Pretty good.

Cherry7 10-17-2011 08:14 AM

"Limitless" is a great film, but that's too difficult try "Closely Observed Trains"....

Also as you keep posting, asking for suggestions, maybe you should buy a book on film.

StinkyPink 10-17-2011 09:42 AM

I just saw Arena, It was pretty good throughout, but seemed to be a cliff hanger for me at the end. Perhaps hollywood is leaving everything open to sequels now that they are out of fresh ideas... I mean, they have to get sick of doing comic superheroes and lame remakes eventually, right?

Martyrs 2008, "is there a hell and heaven..."

blazin 10-23-2011 02:15 PM

Try Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away if you like Animation or even if you don't.

Try 'Hobo With A Shotgun'.
Rutger Hauer at his violent best.
All he wanted was a lawnmower.
