When it comes to 80's movies this one is overlooked all the time.

One of my favourites.

I just worked on an independent feature this past summer and Altered States was the one movie the writer/director cited as his inspiration. We watched this as a group one night, I hadn't seen it before.

I can't wait to see the finished product, and see how they compare.

BTW - Altered States was a game changer back in the day. It is still an impressive movie (if anyone actually decides to watch it...) Then again, everybody here is too cool to give it the "props" that its deserves.

Great movie. Maybe you can find it on one of Manwin's tubes. If you do stumble across it - watch it. The whole thing. Sounds like work watching an actual, real movie? It won't be... It'll be a reward.

Anyway what i saw in your video is pretty far from the effect of a drug.
It is far too constructed.

I love that movie.

It was on one of the movie channels last night. Its still a good movie, but watching it in 1080p kinda ruins the already cheesy effects.
