domain question
i purchased a domain with 3900 hits per month
know that i own the domain the traffic is dropping from 500hits to 107hits in 3 days know that i have the domain the traffic is nearly 100% from a link trading site should i ask for my money back |
Did you buy the domain or the traffic? Very few sales i have brokered have come complete with traffic. Besides, 100 hits day for a month is 3000, so not sure what the issue is.

i know its nothing in the hits it get per month but this is the first domain i have purchased that has traffic that means nothing basicly if that site drops the domain the site looses all traffic compared to se traffic (probably should have asked from were the traffic was coming from) |
Buy keyword .coms that receive natural type in traffic so even if the traffic fades the domain still has value which may result in a possible domain sale. Any traffic stats a seller shows could be inflated with link trades, purchased traffic that exists today but once sold may go away so buy on the quality of the domain itself as anyone can buy traffic to artificially inflate numbers unless they are showing you full statistics you can analyze. A good domain name always has potential to be developed. A bad domain name just bought for traffic usually fades and then you just have a bad domain.

I doubt you will get your $$ back anyway, so chalk it up to experience and move on...
