Plugrush more down than up
 

Hello,

Do you guys also have the problem that thumbs aren't loading most of the time (widget) because of an nginx error?

It's going on for weeks! We miss loose some visitors with trading here.... Do you guys have alternatives?

getting that same ngix error
or sometimes whole page loads but plugrush that needs extra time,
so it's slowing down the site...

We've grown a lot lately, and have been doing some optimizing and server upgrades for the past couple of days. Still got a couple of things to smooth out which is being handled at the moment, and should be sorted out today. Hopefully it'll work a lot better once these optimizations has been completed. I expect it to be completed by tomorrow.

I've been submitting tickets for the last days and always the same. We are currently upgrading.... it should be ok in a few hours..

I think they have big performance issues and don't seem to handle it correctly

Looks like now it's totally fucked up! Anybody has alternatives to plugrush??

Stopped using them ages ago, have you thought of juicyads??

Juicy Ads is great, check them out. I have gotten some good traffic from them and it's also so easy to sell traffic (and you can make bank selling it).

No it isn't, basically you can sell your traffic there, and buy ads.

It works well though, but ya no trading.

I dropped them after their last downtime. Not going back.

Yeah, we do have performance issues. Growing pains if you will, but we do know how to handle them also. Restructuring and optimizing huge databases isn't something we can just do in an hour or so. We need to do proper tests, and make sure we upgrade without breaking something. There has been many areas in which we've done improvements during the last few days, and we will do even more for the next few days. You can't rush development like this.

The error you got was only in the backend system for a couple of minutes, and didn't effect the system itself.

Feel free to look for other alternatives, if you can find any, but I'm confident that once these upgrades are complete, it will be smooth sailing from here.

When was that?

Okay I understand that. But be clear in communication! I always get: should be fixed in a couple of minutes... that's bullshit! Create an honest announcement and people will understand it and they can take actions (remove plugrush for a couple of days from their sites)

You should give the people some bonus cash because of the problems and the communication that went totally wrong.
