Before I married my wife, I had the chance to met her brother. It was the only time I met him. He had Lupus.

I walked into this hospital room and asked how he was doing. His response stunned me.

"I lost my left leg last week, and my right leg two days ago, but so far today is turning to be a pretty good day.".

Sort of puts it all into perspective.
